Sunday. Again

You know. I keep complaining about sundays, yes I do . Deal with it. They suck.

The weather is ALWAYS bad, your body just dont wanna do anything but sitting in front of your computer staring in to endless status changes at Facebook, or sitting in front of the TV with coffee watching reruns of shows you dont even like.

Today is a bit different, I am actually cleaning my room, and about to help mum getting the house ready for my family birthday"party" tomorrow. Thats right, I am turning 20. Finally! Yet, it is abit scary knowing my years as a teenager is over . You know, the age were people mock you for a bad haircut, you get pimples all over your face, falling in love more than 10 times a year, boring maths and other classes... Figure I will miss it. Well. I am introduced to alcohol, and tomorrow I will be more introduced to liquor. God how I love life. Figures.

So.. Lately my addiction to Fashion has increased, yet you cant tell by looking at my everyday outfits. Cause.. I pretty much dont care. All I love is watching others, in pictures. I wanna shot those awesome pictures one day. Names like Corey Kennedy havent been introduced to me before my friend Mari told me about her last night. And it amazes me how you can become famous through just being yourself on a goddamn website such as MySpace. So if I start doing coke, put up high fashionable party pictures, with an annoying flash and burned out colours on my Facebook I might get famous?.. Hm To be considered? Hah. I figure not. So .Yes. From now on I will have to start reading through fashion magazines. To increase my amazing skills for photography.

The words, the thoughts. It doesn´t really matter. Sometimes creativity is just. Out there. You need to catch it. Lately, my creativity hasn´t been what I´ve wanted it to be. I want to create. Create something. That you haven´t seen before, in something you probably have seen before. I guess it complicated. But then again, its just my thoughts. My words. The words.

Listening to The White Stripes - My Doorbell, I write these words. I´ve been thinking about the doorbell, when they´re gonna ring it. Geese, I do.

Creativity is not knocking on my door at the moment. As I write these words.

Hangover

So, yes, its Sunday. I gotta say, as I probably have said before - Sundays are my least favorite day of the week. You are hungover, bored, sick, and its the day where you have to do all the things you have delayed the whole week. I hate Sundays.

Hm I dunno what to say anymore. So many things are happening to me right now I am doing quite great, except the fact that I managed to loose my license due to speeding.

Im shooting the next four days for school projects, trying to concentrate all my creativity and create what can possibly be the best.

Also I have a model shoot on sunday, with someone more talented than just my pretty girl friends, and I had a girl contacting me through Facebook wanting to do some TFP work, which I am open for anytime! So awesome!

Ehm I´m actually also working for Design Agency Armed right now. Which is newly launched. Check it out at www.armed.nu, due to economical crisis all over the world, and the fact that the "agency" is at a starting point they will offer really cheap designs so CHECK IT OUT.

I also finally got to upload my website www.chrisaadland.com and Im quite happy. Still doing some constructing though Enjoy it.

And last , but not least I got in touch with Thale of www.menthale.no, cause I love her style and vintage clothing (due to the fact that I HATE outfit-blogs), so I figured I wanted to photograph her and her concept Fudge Store.

Christmas wishes

Ehm, okay, so first I have my birthday coming up. All I wishes for is money (lol) so that I might be able to buy even better camera accessories.! Geese, yeah, I am a nerd

Anyways. And there is Christmas coming up and my mum and dad wanted me to make a list, for what I want this Christmas. And that is so hard. Today EVERYTHING costs a fortune, and I mean, you cant really wish for stuff that are gonna cost 1000$ !! , but what else is there that is cheap these days ?  Socks? Or maybe an orange wrapped in Christmas paper? I mean.. Its the thought that counts? Yeah right. Like you wouldnt get disappointed if  you got a damn orange.

So what do you want for Christmas?

As of right now I have been searching on www.bhphotovideo.com to find my wishes, but its hard. I kinda want UV filters for all my lenses, but then again, I wanna buy L lenses as soon as I can. So I guess probably a 58mm UV filter would been needed anyways. Umm. And I really need a skarf, I want one of those that everone has. Lol But I just simply love them.

And oo. I really want a Lara Jade print that I can frame and put on my wall. Or any other of my favourite photographers; Joey Lawrence, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz. That would just be awesome ! Books by my favs? Perhaps..

Marie

Last night was so much fun, but as usual a fun night results in a crappy morning. Its weird that you think the night before that it is worth it cause it is so much fun, but then, the day after you´re like..Crap.... 

Anyways, so for today I was shoot some pictures with a friend, Marie, mostly to try out different stuff with my 580 EX II flash, which i used to hate, but now love.

New Age Ninjas

Okay. So yesterday I went to shoot NaN, a performing-group consisting of 5 really great guys who knows their stuff. We got to shoot 3 of them and a friend of them. With me I had Øyvind as an assistant and co-photographer (lol), and Tone and a friend of her as stylists. An awesome team, and a must-do-again!

I am currently loaded with school and my boring-ass job so I haven´t really looked through all my pictures yet. But have faith, I WILL publish more than just this one, love it thou...

There was actually an artist in the room next to us working on something really cool! She made the fiber-chords glow using music and a video-canon in each end...

Travelling

Its a friday morning and I am up at 10.15. How I love this long weekend of mine. On the past four weeks I haven´t had much of a weekend, this week I do! I am quite exited that a friend of mine from Oslo is in the city today, so I am going to meet her for the day (yes, thats why I am up as early as 10.15 on my day off). And I must say I am quite exited!

After staring a lot at the portfolio of Joey L. I have decided I want to travel, traveling is amazing, and why shouldn´t I? I do have friends all over the world right? All my old roomies from Chatham Square, Mark from UK, Robin from France, Dickie from Hong Kong. And other friends of mine from Japan, Germany, Italy, different states in USA. And not to mention all my Norwegian friends all over Norway. Im guessing you get the picture!

I guess the thoughts came to my head, since my friend Kamilla is visiting me from Oslo. Visiting friends all over the world, AND get to travel! It has to be my dream!

It has been a trend for several years to travel the world, and as I am typing two friends of mine are actually doing that. Spending what money they have earned the past years to visit several destinations all around the world! All my wishes goes out to them, and I hope they are having an amazing trip!

I love All hope is gone. Snuff, and Till we die are amazing! - well for those of you who like Slipknot. haha. Anyways, I finally had a day of from school and work, and got to do.. Schoolwork?

I bought Canon 5D from a friend to day, and I have to say "Dear diary, I am in love". It is just amazing, so I took the opportunity to shoot some pictures for school. And I finally did my TV idea. And the pictures turned out great, completely my style! Sadly for you bloggers, I have to say that I´m not going to upload the finished shots on my blog, and I sadly have no behind-the-scenes shot. From now on I will no longer post final images, only behind-the-scenes and snapshots from here and there. Sorry. 

But to cheer you up, my website is almost up running, and from there you can view ALL my finished work. Thank you for reading my Blog!

Sickness

You would think that being sick would give me alot of opportunities to update my blogg, but I guess not. I hate being sick. As of right now I am enjoying a good sandwich on a late morning looking out the window at a beautiful day of fall. The leaves are colorful and the sky is blue and the sun is shining. I just wanna run out there and take pictures, but no. Im here. Sick. READING about photography. Oh well, Maybe next time. Here are some pictures I thought I should upload

So tonight I am doing the candles shot. I am quite exited, and a little anxious that the location might be bad. We´ll see. 

Still saving up for the 5D, looks like I will be getting it at the end of this month. I am SO exited.

Trying to make time to finish my website, but there are hardly any in between school, work, shoots and band practice.

They turned out good, and know I know how I wanna complete my assignment.

Upcoming shoots

So for the new school assignment, I have a few shoots coming up. 

Tuesday 7th - Trine and Vegard, focusing on using candles and warm light in a romantic atmosphere

Sunday 12th - Mariell. This is the one I am most exited about! Using two or more TV´s as a lightsource, backing up with a reflector and having her crawl on cement in a parking-lot/house to create a scary atmosphere

Thursday 16th - Ingrid. Focusing on a calm light creating a dreamy atmosphere. Concept is dreams, and Cinderella

I need to set up two more shoots, one for my idea of using a car-light as a light source behind the model, backing up with a reflector making a cool atmosphere I can´t really put a word on.

And then there is also my idea of using two light sources, lamps or something, coming from below, one on each side to create a completely different scary atmosphere than the one with TV´s .

They do not understand

They all say they understand, but they don´t. So how can they say they understand? You might now what I am talking about, you might not. Well, I am talking about my life as a Disney slave, staying at the Commons in Orlando. I met up with my friend Yasmin today, who I worked with in Disney. And also lately I have been sad, missing it alot. Today it just got worse, Yasmin and I talked alot about it, going back and stuff. But please, don´t say you understand. Have you been there? - Then you know people don´t understand..
